Minimalist watches can feel flat in standard product visuals

MVMT's Legacy Slim is a clean, 1960s-inspired dress watch designed around simplicity - slim profile, domed glass, leather strap. That restraint is the appeal, but it also means traditional product imagery can only show so much. There's craftsmanship and mechanical detail beneath the surface that doesn't come through in standard photos or flat renders.

Solution

A reimagined Legacy Slim brought to life in 3D

We took the Legacy Slim as a starting point and built on it, adding depth to the case and designing an open caseback that reveals the internal gears and movement. The concept piece pairs the watch's classic leather strap and clean dial with a more mechanical, layered feel that gives the viewer something to explore. The watch was placed within Spanish-inspired interior architecture scenes, grounding the product in a warm, textured environment. A film grain treatment was applied across the entire project to tie everything together with a tactile, analog quality that complements the watch's vintage-inspired design.
