About the project
Problem
Complex defense technology is hard to communicate visually
Raglan builds proprietary systems across propulsion, software, and integrated platforms for the U.S. Military, SOCOM, and commercial partners. Their work spans a wide range of vehicles and equipment, from tactical trucks and custom 6x6 UTVs to munitions loaders and legacy vehicle modernization. The engineering behind it, things like reverse-engineered gauge clusters, custom wiring, embedded software, and rebuilt center consoles, happens under the surface. The challenge was creating visual content that captures both the scale of their vehicle portfolio and the depth of the technical work that goes into each platform.
Solution
A 3D visual system built around Raglan's engineering identity
We developed a suite of 3D content spanning a hero animation, motion identity, and web assets. The centerpiece was a 30-second spot for the Hilux Toyota launch at a 2026 event, featuring a fly-through animation of a base car chassis rendered in a point-cloud, military-grade holographic style before transitioning into live-action footage. We also animated the Raglan logo into a full motion identity and produced a library of 360-degree vehicle animations for the website, covering platforms across their lineup. Each vehicle starts in a dark metallic finish and transitions into a holographic x-ray look that reveals internal components, wiring paths, and integration points, giving an abstract but clear sense of the reverse engineering and custom systems work that defines what Raglan does.
