About the project
Problem
Some of the best product features happen where cameras can't go
Chefman's Crispinator is an 8-quart air fryer built around a 3600 RPM DC motor and high-velocity airflow system that cooks up to 40% faster than competitors. The key differentiators, like how air circulates inside the chamber, how the heating elements distribute heat, and what makes the results crispier, all happen behind closed doors. Showing that in a way that's clear and visually compelling isn't something a standard product shoot can pull off.
Solution
3D X-ray sequences that open up the product from the inside
We worked closely with the Chefman team across production, contributing 3D animation, compositing, and color grading that integrated directly into the broader video edit. The 3D sequences include X-ray style interior shots showing food inside the cooking chamber, animated airflow patterns that visualize how the high-speed motor circulates hot air around the basket, and detailed views of the heating elements in action. The challenge was making something inherently invisible, moving air and heat distribution, feel tangible and easy to understand on screen while matching the look and tone of the surrounding live-action footage.
